VDN in the community

VDN community program

VDN plays an active role in its community by providing services as well as supporting organizations or initiatives that make a positive and meaningful difference. Our main objective is bringing people and the community together.

VDN takes part in the 2010 edition of the annual small boats race "La Course des Petits Bateaux", to benefit the Mathieu-Lafond Foundation

On June 19, VDN employees pooled their efforts for the 2010 edition of La Course des Petits Bateaux held at the Pointe-Calumet Beach Club. This annual activity to support young people experiencing difficulties was a resounding success. The VDN team took home the Bronze Pirate award for having raised almost $10,000 and a special mention for the ingenuity of its boat. VDN is proud to have taken part in this fundraising activity for creative and environmental projects that provide enriching experiences for young people.

Community channel

VDN is proud to partner with TCF (Television communautaire Frontenac) in their efforts to provide local programming produced by the Community for the Community. Focused around various local social and cultural topics TCF programming aims at helping the community to better understand the local challenges and projects as well as reinforcing the sense of belonging to the Community.

TCF is also a unique learning arena. Its several volunteers and collaborators of all ages and horizon can experiment with several disciplines of the television content production. TCF is a place for our youth and seniors to share experiences in a positive and constructive environment. VDN is proud to support TCF.

Television and Internet services

VDN is happy to cooperate with tenant associations to ensure we provide Internet and Television services that meet the needs identified for several community and sporting rooms across its network. Helping people share a rich and vibrant television and Internet experience is one way VDN has chosen to show support to the community.
